Alona has over two decades of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Berkley Management Protection, Alona served as the Chief Claims Officer of a national multiline claim department and in various claim management roles for a number of national/global insurance carriers and brokerage firms. Alona gained extensive experience implementing process and technology improvement initiatives in these prior roles. She was responsible for all aspects of technical claim handling and litigation management across 50 states in the area of specialty lines including management liability, professional liability, cyber, healthcare, financial institutions, general liability and surety.
Alona graduated from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law where she served as the Managing Print Editor of the Loyola Law Review and a member of the Moot Court. She is an active member of several insurance and claims industry organizations.
